The annual Christmas Pageant will be held on Sunday, December 16, 2018 during the 10:00 worship service.
The pageant is a tradition here at PCUM and the kids look forward to 'graduating' from the friendly stable animals to the Holy family and wise "people". The actors and actresses do an amazing job of telling the story of Christ's birth through prose and song. They help to make the story of Jesus' birth their very own story as we celebrate together as a church family. The pageant will surely touch your heart and prepare you for the Christmas season of hope, love, joy, and peace.
Pageant rehearsals are set for Saturday, December 8, from 9:00 until 10:30 a.m. AND Saturday, December 15, from 9:00 until 10:30 a.m. in the church Fellowship Hall and Sanctuary.
For those who will have reading parts (2nd graders through 5th graders), there will also be a script reading scheduled. You will receive an email well in advance. The script reading is fun way for the kids to get together and learn which part they have been assigned and just read through the script a couple of times. A pizza dinner will be served as well. Please know that your child is welcome to participate in the pageant whether or not he/she would like a speaking part.
All children from preschool through 5th grade are invited to participate. PCUM Music Director, Ms. Anne Marie Juliano and Director of Christian Education, Mary Beckhusen look forward to working with your children this year.
You may sign your children up by emailing Mary Beckhusen ( ). If you child is in the 2nd through 5th grades, please indicate in your email whether or not they wish to have a speaking part or not. Contact Mary with any questions you may have.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at the church office at 973-746-3854 or send me an email.
