A Lot to Grow - PCUM Community Garden
Did you know the PCUM family has its own vegetable garden? That’s right! The garden is located in the southwest corner (Norwood Avenue side) of the church property, tucked in behind the pre-school playground. Each summer, PCUM volunteers work in the garden to grow fresh produce, which is then donate to the Human Needs Food Pantry, which in turn provides food for the families in need in our community.
Would YOU like to help make the garden grow? Anyone interested in being part of PCUM’s garden community is invited to contact Jennifer Hanawald at 973-768-6571. No experience necessary, and no long-term commitment. Show up and get your hands dirty! Our schedule for planting and maintenance is weekly on Thursday mornings at 9:30 a.m.
