Chancel Choir

Throughout its history, the Presbyterian Church of Upper Montclair's life of worship and ministry has been been shaped by our outstanding choral program.  Drawing from the deep reservoir of talent in Montclair and surrounding communities, PCUM's Chancel Choir is both the musical and the spiritual heart of this church.

Choir_6826_cropThe Chancel Choir leads Sunday morning worship from September through June — typically providing two significant choral offerings as well as the musical framework for each and every service.  PCUM's choral program reflects an intentional blend of traditional sacred music and Protestant hymnody with spirituals, Gospel and contemporary/praise musical forms.

PCUM's Chancel Choir is open to all members and friends who want to offer their gifts and themselves to God in gratitude and praise.  Many singers have extensive vocal training and experience, while others just love to sing.  All are warmly welcomed into a community that values its fellowship and spiritual connectedness as much as its commitment to quality choral offerings.  Weekly rehearsals are held on Thursdays from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. and on Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m.  For more information, contact Director of Music Ministries, Anne Marie Juliano at .
