Midnight Run
February 28 @ 8:00 pm - 11:30 pm
The popular youth service activity The Midnight Run is back! – and YOU can take part in several important ways: Teens (confirmation age & older) can volunteer to go on the Run, and everyone in the PCUM family can help by donating jackets. PCUM’s next Run will be Saturday evening, February 28th! Volunteer adult drivers/chaperones are also needed! If you would like to take part and/or go on the Midnight Run, contact Youth Director Garrett Pahl as soon as you can at garrett@pcum.org.
The Midnight Run is a late-Saturday night trip into New York City to meet and serve homeless men and women living on the streets. Volunteers make preparations earlier that Saturday, and then at 8:15 pm several cars will depart the church to take food, hot soup, personal items, and clothing
to homeless women and men at several predetermined meeting places in Midtown and Lower Manhattan.
For the February 28th Midnight Run, PCUM is holding a JACKET DRIVE with the goal of 70 jackets. To help, just follow these simple steps:
1) SCAN THE QR CODE to purchase ONE JACKET (or more!) online available on sale on Amazon for just $32.99–and then have it/them shipped directly to the church.
2) Select size Large. For color, select Navy Blue.
3) Ship the hoodie(s) directly to PCUM c/o Garrett Pahl, 53 Norwood Ave., Montclair, 07043.
